Duck Pond Dawn, a 56" x 58" acrylic on canvas painting by local artist and Preserve member Peter Sheehan of New Paltz. Sheehan received a B.A. from St. Michaels College with a minor in Art History. He attended the School of Visual Art in 1966 then moved to New Paltz in 1968 to obtain an MFA at SUNY. He exhibited in a five state area and won the prestigious Olivetti Award from Silvermine Art Guild in Connecticut. In 1971 he obtained an MFA in sculpture with a minor in Art History.

Joan Barker is a Hudson Valley artist who pushes limits and employs both traditional and experimental methods in her photography and painting. Her work has been featured nationally in one-person shows, including OK Harris in NYC, and group exhibits at the Photographers' Gallery in London and Carrie Haddad Gallery, Hudson, NY. Joan's work for The Fresh Air Fund is frequently featured in The New York Times and her photographs are in numerous collections such as The Center for Creative Photography in Tucson, AZ.
